Stellar Bodies

Below is a list of the 12 major Zodiac constellations and the eight major planetary bodies in our solar system. This list contains their classic historical & mythological meanings as understood by the ancient Romans, Greeks, Persians, Hebrews, and Mesopotamian peoples. These were universal in their meanings and the stories associated with them were passed on from generation to generation over many millenia. Some of these constellations were referred to in the Bible such as Orion and Plaedies and the woman (Virgo) in books like Job and Revelations. While this is by no means exhaustive, it will give the reader a better understanding of the heavenly signs and their significance.
